I've been in Florida for 15 years - from New England - so I know my clams and I've been missing them for 15 years! My husband and I went to Kellys a few weeks ago because I'd read on line that they had whole belly clams (there should be no other kind). I got tears in my eyes at the first bite - the clams were so sweet and so good and it reminded me of many weekends on the cape. My husband had the baked scallops and said they were the best he's ever eaten. Thanks Kelly's for bringing me "home" for a moment. We going back for the chowdah tomorrow!!

MY HUSBAND I WENT TO KELLY'S LAST NIGHT FOR HIS BIRTHDAY: HE ORDERED A $50 2 LBS. LOBSTER & I ORDERED THE FISH MELADY WHICH WAS AS BIG AS MY FIST, NOT WORTH THE $22. THE SWEET POTATO WAS WRINKLED & BURNT & THE WAITRESS FORGOT OUR SALADS. MY SON WAS CRYING & BEING THE GOOD MOTHER THAT I AM I TOOK HIM OUTSIDE RIGHT AWAY. WE ASKED THE HOSTESS IF WE COULD SIT OUTSIDE (WHICH WAS ALL SET UP W/ TABLES & CHAIRS ALREADY) SHE SAID NO, BUT SHE DID OFFER TO PUT A LEMON IN MY SON'S MOUTH 5 TIMES. THE WAITRESS TOLD US WE HAD 10 MIN. TO EAT OUR DINNER BECAUSE THEY WERE CLOSING (ONLY 2 MIN. AFTER WE GOT OUR DINNER). WE HAD TO TAKE OUR WHOLE DINNER TO GO, SINCE WE DID NOT HAVE ENOUGH TIME TO EAT IT THERE, EVEN THOUGH WE SPENT ABOUT $200. LATER ON THAT NIGHT MY HUSBAND SPENT HIS 36TH BIRTHDAY IN THE BATHROOM ALL NIGHT THROWING UP AND SO ON. WHEN I CALLED FOR THE MANAGER TODAY, THE WOMAN ON THE PHONE TOLD ME THAT HE IS ONLY IN FROM 9AM-11AM MON. - FRI. (WHAT'S UP W/ THAT?) SHE DID NOT EVEN BOTHER ASK ME WHAT IT WAS REGARDING, SO I TOLD HER. SHE DID NOT ASK ME WHAT I ATE OR ANY DETAILS THAT MIGHT SAVE ANOTHER GUEST FROM GETTING SICK. IF THE MANAGER OFFERS ME A GIFT CERT., I MIGHT ACCEPT IT, BUT SPEND IT ALL AT THEIR BAR. I WOULD NOT RETERN TO THIS PLACE TO EAT EVER AGAIN, ESPECIALLY NOT FOR A BIRTHDAY.

I just had to add that this is the best burger I have had in quit a few years.....so far. I have been longing for one and the other day a couple of us from my office ordered take out. We all got the cheese burger. I was busy when they came back with the food. Mine was on the lunch table for about 15 more minutes untill I noticed he was back. I opened it up and it still was the best burger I have had in a long time. Can you imagine if I ordered it at the restaurant and stayed there to eat it. I reccomend you to try it.
