Description:

The museum chronicles local history through displays featuring Seminole and Tequesta artifacts, as well as memorabilia from the fire and police departments and historically significant families. Located amidst the Botanical Gardens Park in downtown Plantation, the museum also has a peaceful Butterfly Garden. Changing exhibits from museums across the state are hosted at the museum year round.

Open Tues. - Sat. 9:00 a.m. 12:00 p.m., 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.; Closed Sun. - Mon.
