A vast array of art is displayed at the Museum of Art Fort Lauderdale, including a stunning art installation by Edouard Duval-Carrié and works by artists of the CoBra movement. One of the museum's highlights is its The Spectacle of Life: The Art of William Glackens collection, which contains over 500 works by the American impressionist and some of his contemporaries, including Glackens' first known work and the last piece he finished before his death. The museum also displays rotating art exhibits of a variety of styles and time periods, including past displays of works by Pablo Picasso and decorator Dorothy Draper. Located on the far western end of the famous Las Olas Boulevard, the museum is just blocks from the Broward Center for the Performing Arts and the Museum of Discovery and Science Fort Lauderdale.
